Welcome to BHMS Performing Arts Boosters
Performing Arts Boosters helps provide enrichment opportunities for our Band, Choir, Orchestra and Musical Theatre (8th grade)students. Your financial assistance and volunteer support help provide a richer musical environment and compliment our dedicated teachers’ efforts.

Performing Arts Boosters supports our teachers and provides many of the special things like:♫ Bringing professional music clinicians to BHMS
♫ Supporting all-school music programs (Tumbao Bravo, Spring 2006)
♫ Accompanist at school concerts, especially Choir and Orchestra
♫ Assist with bus expenses for field trips to elementary schools (6th graders), field trips to DSO, Michigan State, etc.
♫ Field trips, Community Outreach Programs, Musical Theatre, etc.
♫ Additional equipment, e.g. choir shells (2004/5), keyboard amplifier (concert use, 2006)
♫ Concert programs, communications, Solo/Ensemble and related lock-in expenses
♫ Parent volunteers to assist with concerts, musical theatre props, sets, and rehearsals, chaperoning, uniforms, fundraising, etc.
♫ MSBOA Solo/Ensemble Entry fees
Performing Arts Boosters meets seven times in the school year (during the day with Mr. DeRubeis, Ms. Robbins, Mrs. Baldwin and Ms. Bogrette.) We discuss, plan and assist with upcoming events. We need a lot of parent support (both after school and during school), so even if you can’t join us for the daytime meetings, there are plenty of other opportunities to be involved with our students.
